BEST COASTAL WALK:

The coastline of Jersey is simply stunning! Our favourite walk is  between Greve de Lecq and Plemont.

 

BEST EATS:

Best beach cafe, Hungry Man at Rozel Harbour. Crab sandwiches are great and good burgers too. Locals favourite.

Best seafood at sunset Green Island Restaurant. Try to get a table outside in summer at this bistro style well established beachfront restaurant just outside town.

BEST FREE STUFF: 

Jersey has cycle paths covering almost the entire South Coast. Start in town from in front of Elizabeth Castle and cycle along the seafront at St Aubin's Bay, just before you get to St Aubin's Harbour turn right up the hill. You will see a path -the old railway track- you can cycle all the way up as far as Corbiere, the lighthouse there -photo above- is a great photo opportunity.

Then the choice is yours. Cycle down to St Ouen's Bay- you will need to follow the footpath around to La Pulente, ask for exact directions- or head back to town along the same route you came.

 

 

BEST FREE PARKS & GARDENS:

Howard Davis Park is an oasis just on the outskirt of the town centre. At St Brelade's Bay there is a quiet picnic park with a waterfall just behind the bay.

 

BEST HISTORICAL SITE:

The Channel Islands were the only part of British soil occupied during World War 2. Slave labourers dug deep into a countryside hill in St Lawrence and many died in the process. The Jersey War Tunnels were originally intended to be an ammunition store and barracks for the occupying German forces. BEST KIDS STUFF:

Durrell Wildlife Park is a great fun day out watching the orangutans and gorillas and visiting the reptile house. Tamba Park is an adventure park with an kids play zone, small boating lake, mini games arcade, over 1,000 Koi Carp and an aviary.

 

BEST SUMMER BEACH DAY:

Pick up great local strawberries in the Central Market, Italian hams and cheeses, olives etc at Delicado Deli. Head to the beautiful, sandy beach at St Brelade's Bay.  Lots of fun water activities to enjoy.

  

BEST RAINY DAY IDEAS:

Start the day off with a coffee and cake at Don Street Deli Check out the shops in St Helier, lots of cool, chi chi boutique fashion and jewellery/ accessories shops just off the high street. Then, head to Ayusha Wellness Spa for a pampering you won't forget.

Have lunch at one of the many picturesque country pubs in Jersey.
