Here are our recommendations for lunch in Jersey:

BUSINESS LUNCH:

Ormer has the central town location, Michelin starred restaurant, excellent wine list and is dressed to impress. For those not on generous expense accounts the set price menu offers good value.

BEACH BRUNCH:

Right on the beachfront at St Ouen's Bay, El Tico is our favourite place for Sunday brunch. Why? Because you can eat great food with this view.

BEACH LUNCH:

Green Island Restaurant has been a locals favorite for years, especially good seafood dishes a stones throw from the beach. Great place to sample local oysters

LADIES WHO LUNCH:

Next door to the market Banjo- pictured above- is a perfect place to stop off for a light lunch after a mornings retail therapy.

PUB LUNCH:

La Pulente has good fish & chips and tables outside for a stunning view of  St Ouen's Bay

SUMMER BREEZE:

For those lazy hazy days of summer book a table al fresco on the terrace at Sumas and enjoy excellent food with a front row  view of Gorey Harbour & Castle.

SPECIAL OCCASION:

Longueville Manor would be our first choice every time. Extremely high quality of food and wine, relaxed ambiance, first class  service and a beautiful restaurant decorated with taste

SUNDAY LUNCH:

Chateau La Chaire wins our vote as not only is it a charming hotel with good service and great food, but you can also walk off lunch in their beautiful gardens or stroll down to the picturesque harbour.

TOWN LUNCH:

So many good options. But we are going to choose Tiffin overlooking the Marina for those sunny Spring and Summer days .

In Winter we recommend the Michelin Starred Bohemia.

VALUE WITH A VIEW:

Cycle out to the Old Station Cafe on Victoria Avenue by Millbrook for great value all day English Breakfasts, great Thai Specials in the evening in Summer and a knockout view.
