St Aubin's Harbour

The old harbour at St Aubin provides a picturesque setting for a host of excellent restaurants, cafes and bars and is easily walkable.

A bus from town is less than a 20 minute ride along the coast road.

Alternatively hire a bike and cycle along the sea front cycle path to the 'village' as it is known locally.

Just a few yards up the hill from the harbour is the railway walk a lovely path for walking or cycling that after 30 minutes or so brings you to one of the best photo opportunities at Corbiere Lighthouse.

Local Knowledge:

The Trafalgar Pub was home to Karl Marx when he spent time in Jersey.

The Old Courthouse Inn at one end of the harbour was once a 'court' where smugglers would settle their disputes! In more recent times it was the setting for the BBC detective series Bergerac

Just past The Old Courthouse is the Royal Channel Island Yacht Club and behind there is a pretty  'secret beach' called locally Pebble Beach.

You can walk out at low tide to the 16th Century St Aubin's Fort, but be aware of when the time of high tide is as Jersey has one of the fastest tides on earth!
