A sheltered bay with soft, golden sand and clear water located on the south coast of the island. Recently voted the 3rd best beach in the UK by TripAdvisor users.
Parking- There are plenty of public car parks along the length of the bay but by lunchtime, they are usually full by noon in high season.
Swimming- The water slopes off gently so it's safe for kids. During summer months the beach is patrolled by life-guards.
Toilets- Public toilets along the length of the bay.
WHERE TO EAT:
Decent beach bistro style food with a relaxed atmosphere a few steps from the sand.
Next door is this beachfront restaurant popular with wealthy expats and local bankers.
Right on the bay, this Pizza Express must have the best views of any in the UK.
WHERE TO STAY:
Just across the road from the bay is the St Brelade's Bay Hotel, with a lovely outdoor pool and beautiful gardens.
If you can afford it, the Bay Suite has stunning beach views.
