St Ouen's Bay in Jersey

Covering almost the entire west coast of Jersey, the Atlantic beach of St Ouen's Bay is the number 1 surf beach on the island.

A sandy bay backing on to sand dunes and peppered with some good beach cafes and cantinas.

WHERE TO EAT:

Follow the local surfers to The Line Up a food truck right on the bay serving a good bacon roll and a gut busting Hawaiian burger.

El Tico is the best place fort a sunset beer and al fresco food. with indoor dining in winter.

Le Braye Cafe serves a great crab sandwich. Some of the best seafood on the island is served on the bay BBQ style at Faulkener Fisheries at L'Etacq.

WHERE TO STAY:

No hotels on the bay as it is a protected natural area. However, there are apartments and some cool options to stay in old historic buildings.
